Maya Can the server read this?
01 PRIVATE-FIRST COMMUNITIES FOR WINDOWS
Your people.
Not the public.
Private servers, encrypted conversations, Talk and direct messages in one invitation-only Windows client. VaultSec is built to reduce exposure, not maximize attention.

02 TWO PRODUCTS. ONE PRIVATE NETWORK.
Meet the two
VaultSec apps.
Desktop and Mobile are separate products for different moments, connected by one VaultSec identity. The Windows app is available in the private beta; the focused mobile companion is the next product in development.
TODAY
Maya The launch room is ready. Only invited members can enter.
Jonas Perfect. Starting a private Talk now.
The full control room.
Built for long conversations, community administration and serious Talk sessions. Desktop brings every encrypted room, role, participant and owner control into one precise workspace.
- Encrypted DMs and communities
- Talk, video and screen sharing
- Roles, moderation and owner control
Your circle, in your pocket.
The planned mobile companion focuses on encrypted replies, notifications you control and fast Talk access. It will extend the same account without pretending the mobile release is finished today.
- Focused encrypted inbox
- Per-chat and per-server notification control
- Fast private Talk access
03 PRIVACY IS THE PRODUCT
Less exposure.
By design.
VaultSec removes public discovery from the core experience, requires encrypted Matrix rooms before sending and keeps access intentional. Privacy is not a mode you have to find later.
Encrypt before send
The client refuses to send into a new direct or community room until Matrix room encryption is active.
Admission, not discovery
Registration is invitation-only. Communities use exact invitations or an owner-controlled vanity unlocked by a fully boosted server.
Password stays out
The Windows client protects its local session with the operating system and does not save the account password.
The homeserver still processes routing, memberships and room names. A compromised participant device can expose what that participant can see. VaultSec states that boundary clearly.

Everything your group needs.
Nothing public by default.
Messages and private DMs
Replies, edits, reactions, encrypted images, files, voice messages and view-once media live inside encrypted Matrix rooms.
Communities and roles
Owners organize categories, encrypted text and Talk channels, ordered roles, channel rights and member moderation.
Talk, video and sharing
Relay-only voice, video and screen sharing include speaking state, local participant volume, fullscreen viewing and a 720p/1080p policy.
Bots and webhooks
Build fixed-response bots or connect a Discord-style incoming webhook to one encrypted channel. Incoming text is encrypted immediately for its Windows controller.
Owner control and moderation
Role assignment, timeouts, kicks, bans, invitations and sensitive account actions stay server-authorized and auditable.
Membership and boosts
Monthly and yearly membership, complete 14-boost server packages and exact SOL payment requests are handled in the protected control center.
05 VAULTSEC VS DISCORD
Discord is built for reach.
VaultSec is built for restraint.
If you need massive public communities and a giant app ecosystem, Discord is the stronger fit. If you want an invitation-gated workspace with no browsable public directory and encryption required before sending, VaultSec makes the sharper choice.
Privacy is not a settings scavenger hunt.
Controlled admission. Fewer discovery surfaces. Encrypted Matrix rooms required before sending.
A social platform first.
More reach, more discovery and more integrations — with a correspondingly larger social surface.
Discord is a trademark of Discord Inc. VaultSec is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Discord.
06 THE ACTUAL BOUNDARY
Encryption matters.
Honest limits do too.
VaultSec encrypts message content in Matrix rooms. The homeserver still processes the metadata needed to route and synchronize those rooms. A compromised endpoint can still expose what its user can see.
- 01Participant deviceCreates and holds room keys locally.
- 02HomeserverRelays encrypted events and required delivery metadata.
- 03Participant deviceDecrypts content for the intended account.
